Exhibition: Through the prism

izlozba

The exhibition "Through the prism" was created as an answer to the question of how to illustrate everyday objects and motifs in an unordinary way. It connects the real and imaginary motifs in a single composition, thereby creating a symbiosis between the living and non-living, movement and stagnation, playful and serious. Motives are of unusual structures, unrealistic ratios and colours, just to emphasise the fantasy and fairy-tale extent present in the children's world. Illustrations were done in watercolour pencil technique in combination with dry pastels and ink. The illustration, as an artistic expression, allows the viewer to perceive a certain sequence and experience them in their own way, as a kind of personal projection. The exhibition is for children and adults.
